Wojciech Walter Poznanski

I am a robotics, automation and maintenance engineer with more than 20 years of experience across manufacturing, logistics, modular construction and technical operations. I combine a practical engineering background with a strong interest in artificial intelligence and its potential to improve reliability, maintenance and operational decision-making.

As an Advanced Robotic Engineer / Technical Team Lead at Amazon UK, I support robotic, conveyor and automated sortation systems in a demanding 24/7 environment. My experience includes PLC fault finding, SCADA monitoring, preventive and reactive maintenance, root cause analysis and equipment improvements. Previous roles have involved leading maintenance activities, supervising contractors, coordinating technical teams and managing engineering materials and documentation.

I have practical experience using a range of AI tools and am interested in exploring their value in engineering. My interests include AI-assisted troubleshooting, making technical knowledge easier to access, and supporting better maintenance planning and decisions. I bring an understanding of real operational constraints, with safety, reliability and practical usefulness guiding my approach.

My background includes IT and Computing studies at The Open University, advanced robotics training and Python for Engineers and Scientists. I enjoy learning about emerging technologies and connecting them with hands-on engineering challenges.
