Enterprise systems don't talk to each other by default — over 25 years, I've made them. Right now I'm architecting the integration layer connecting Salesforce, SITS (Student Records), and Canvas LMS for the University of London's Global Digital Campus programme — built on Azure CDM and gRPC, with custom React/Next.js tooling so the engineering team can actually see what's happening inside it. Before that, I spent over six years at St Mary's University as DBA and integration lead across 45 SQL Server instances and 20+ applications, cutting manual admin workload by up to 40%. My work sits at the intersection of legacy and modern: Salesforce Platform Events and gRPC, Azure Service Bus and Cosmos DB, SQL Server administration at scale, and — where it adds real value rather than noise — agentic AI and n8n automation. I'm equally comfortable designing the architecture and being the one who builds, deploys, and hands it over. I've led teams, set technical standards, and mentored junior developers while staying hands-on — I'd rather be the person still in the code than the one only drawing the diagram.
