I co-founded Meritos Consulting to use my experience of advising and mentoring CIOs across blue chip companies and the public sector to advise on the specifics of rolling out AI capabilities. I've been around the loop where senior people in a business get excited about a technology and then it fails to deliver many times. That's never been more of a risk than it is now, with so much rhetoric, discussion and confusion around AI.

I use my experience to identify the blockers to getting AI delivering value to an organisation, that may be governance (AI or otherwise), clarity on use cases, architecture or operations processes, HR - the list goes one. I work with organisations to help confirm the potential benefits of AI and outline the very real risks that need to be managed in order to safely deploy AI. My objective is for the organisation to put AI in place which is usable, fully understood and supportable.

Alongside this, I am also experienced in financial management of technology and on sourcing / vendor management, both of which are key to ongoing success with AI.

I have worked with clients including: central and local government, NHS, banking and insurance, utilities, media, manufacturing and charity / third sector clients.
