HoursBack does AI workflow assessments for UK small businesses, and builds the automations and agents that come out of them.

The work starts with a conversation. I sit down with an owner or a department head for an hour and map where the week actually goes: the reconciliation that eats every Friday, the report nobody wants to write, the handover between two people that quietly costs a day. Then I write it up. What to fix, in what order, and what it is worth in hours. Most of it is unglamorous, and that is rather the point.

Where an agent genuinely earns its place, I build it and put it live in the client's own account, so they own it and can walk away from me whenever they like.

Most of my clients have opened ChatGPT twice in their lives. They are five to fifty people, they know they should be doing something about AI, and every article they read is written for a company a hundred times their size. The honest answer is often that they do not need an agent at all. They need a process nobody has written down.

Before this I spent twenty-two years in the creative industry, latterly automating marketing production for Coca-Cola, Kraft Heinz and Betway. HoursBack is that work made affordable for businesses that could never buy it as consultancy.
